TAVIS is a new project of songs written by saxophonist Travis Bliss featuring Priya Carlberg (Voice), Alex Quinn (Trumpet), Shane Simpson (Keyboards), Andres Abenante (Bass) and Jonathan Starks (Drums). TAVIS showcases a diversity of style and musical influence, at times with driving rock and harpsichord, or mellow bass and voice, or lush harmonic blending and counterpoint. Beneath this apparent menagerie of style and form is a deep belief in the power of the human voice and the melodic line.
